Do I Have To Assign a Report To My Forms?

Adding a report to a form is optional but recommended if you wish to style and structure the content captured and submitted by the app. If no report is attached to a form, the data captured will be displayed within a simple list format. In some instances this is ideal as the list is very tidy and easy to read. However, if the final result needs to include images, logos and headers, then this structure will need to be defined within a report and attached to the form. Each report is assigned directly to the form and can be disabled temporarily or deleted if the list format is preferred. Once a report has been created it cannot be changed, therefore updates to the report won’t affect reports already submitted.
